Pope supports the needless deaths of millions of Africans

Once again we see that religion and dumb ass dogma is more important than reality and compassion as the beloved Panzer Pope and Sith Lord Benedict XVI says abstinence and not condoms is the answer against Aids in Africa.

"You can't resolve it with the distribution of condoms; On the contrary, it increases the problem."

What a Moron!

This guy can’t keep his priests from diddling the parishioners, but he knows that abstinence alone will solve the problem. Yeah right, Ask Bristol Palin how abstinence works!

Last week the Catholic church was excommunicating people who helped a 9 year old get an abortion even thought she was a victim of rape, incest and was very likely to die from the pregnancy. Of course there is no word on excommunicating her evil pedophile father.

Letting delusional old men pick other delusional old men for all the top church jobs is apparently not working; I think it’s time for democratic renewal in the Catholic Church, one Catholic one vote!

Hell I'd even lie about converting just to vote for a womanRecommend this Post

Too incredibly awful to be even thought of in this day and age. Yet, I'm pretty sure that same archbishop wouldn't have been able to fit a eulogy for this poor child when she died from this into his schedule.

I hope he rots you know where.

have faith he will, in the mean time he should show is humility and compassion for his flock by spending the rest of his days working in a hospice

handing out condoms just says, go ahead and have sex. if they didn't, people would be more cautious and they wouldn't have the problems. why don't you think before you let that dribble come out of your mouth.

People are not cautious, or in reality terribly bright. Telling people not to use condoms is akin to telling someone not to use a seat belt but drive carefully.

anybody who thinks that the pope is actually right about this should consider the following: There are no condoms handed out or being made in africa at all, which means that even WITHOUT condoms, they are not aware or the illnesses and diseases that come along with unportected sex. unless if we could get teachers to help them not have sex, then they are hopeless without a condom. besides, sex is a source of main entertainment to them already, and they won't listen if you try to tell them that they can get AIDS from unprotected sex. The pope is a moron, you can't teach a old dog new tricks, which would explain his way of thinking. if we are gonna do anything, just give them the damn condoms, at least there will be less spread of diseases that way.

Some of the men who regularly have sex with prostitutes are workers in dangerous jobs, like mining. Since deaths and accidents occur often they say that this makes the men more aware of how short life is. Their wives are far away, so they live their life to the fullest by having sex with the prostitutes who wait for them outside the door.
Wake up Benedict, men in Africa will not abstinate. Let them use condoms. Also, what about married couples where one of them is living with AIDS and the other is not? Are they not allowed to have sex anymore?

How the Catholic Church even exists in this day and age is a mystery to me. How otherwise intelligent people, who are fully aware of the history of violence, greed, evil and brutality perpetrated by the legacy of Popes and their priests, throughout it's bloody, ignorant history, and still can find it within themselves to kneel and cross themselves before such an alter...baffles me. The path to a higher power certianly is a valid one, but surely does not lead through the gates at the Vatican.
